Editorial Policy

Our editorial process is designed to make every tutorial useful, understandable and transparent.

How guides are prepared

Articles are organized from the maker’s point of view. We define the project, list materials and abbreviations, sequence the construction, explain assembly and add finishing or care guidance. Titles and descriptions are written to accurately reflect the project rather than promise results the instructions cannot support.

Pattern review

Before publication, each guide is reviewed for consistent stitch terminology, logical construction order, obvious count conflicts, image relevance and readable formatting. Crochet outcomes can still vary with gauge and materials, so readers should test measurements during construction.

Images and illustration

Project images are used to communicate the intended style, colors and form. A finished item may differ from an image because of yarn choice, tension, substitutions or individual technique. Images should not replace the written construction instructions.

Corrections

We welcome specific correction requests. When reporting an issue, include the article title and exact step. Material corrections are incorporated into the guide when confirmed; smaller clarity improvements may be made without a separate notice.

Commercial relationships

Advertising helps support free access to the site. Ads do not determine our editorial conclusions. If a post contains an affiliate relationship or sponsored placement, it will be disclosed clearly within that content.
